The Eléa necklace features 10–11 mm Tahitian pearls, selected for their harmony while retaining their character: visible rings, grey hues and iridescent reflections. The 45 cm strand is punctuated with 18k yellow gold beads and fastened with an 18k yellow gold clasp for a clean, durable finish.

The alternation of pearls and gold elements has its origins in early 20th-century European jewellery. The gold beads were not only decorative: they served to distribute tension on the mounting wire, limit wear between pearls and visually structure the row. This technical approach is still used in contemporary jewellery to reinforce the necklace's durability while adding an elegant rhythm to the composition.

Assembled in our French workshop (Yvelines) and delivered in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.

Frequently asked questions:

Are circled pearls more fragile?

No. The rings are natural growth marks. Resistance depends mainly on the quality of the mother-of-pearl and how well it is cared for (avoid chemicals, shocks and heat).

What length should I choose for a Tahitian pearl necklace?

45 cm is a "princess" length, versatile for everyday wear and formal occasions. A customised length can be made to suit your style and body shape.

How should I care for a Tahitian pearl necklace?

Apply perfume/skincare products before putting it on, then wipe the pearls after use. Store it away from heat and friction, ideally in its case.

Why do the reflections vary (green, aubergine, grey)?

The variations come from the orientation of the layers of mother-of-pearl and the light: the angle of view and the lighting change the perception of the reflections.

Is the 18k gold clasp suitable for sensitive skin?

18-carat gold is a noble alloy that is generally well tolerated. If you have a known allergy to certain metals, please let us know: we can find a suitable solution.
